What is Songbox?
Songbox is an online meeting place, linking the creators of music (songwriters, artists, producers, bands) with businesses within the music industry (music publishers, records companies, managers, clubs etc.). Our focus is on unsigned and unpublished music and the community is open to everyone.
Why register?
As a business member at Songbox you will be exposed to the latest unsigned music keep you up to speed on what is going on. Not only can you search among the more than 8,000 creators and 20,000 songs, but we also offer businesses the possibility of setting up leads and events to attract and discover new and unsigned talent. Since 2006 we have helped hundreds of companies in the process of discovering artists, bands, producers and songwriters which today are household names. And the beauty of it all is that your Songbox membership is free!
Songbox at your service!
Pitch of the Month - All of our business members receive a monthly newsletter containing the Songbox Pitch of the Month. Our panel of music professionals screens and selects five of the best songs on Songbox each month and presents these to you in an email. The artists will not see your email address and the music is streamed from our servers meaning you won’t have to waste time downloading large files, or searching various Internet communities hoping to stumble on a new act. Of course, you are always welcome to search among the members at Songbox to find new and interesting music.
Leads and Events – We are always happy to discuss various leads and events which can help you promote your business, current acts or to help you find the next big artist or songwriter. Past examples of events include collaborations with X5 Music, Jam, and Nordic Feel to name just a few. Also together with the newspaper Metro, Songbox has through Metro Music Challenge and Metro on Stage, helped launched the careers of artists such as Erik Hassle and Royal Republic. As a Songbox member we can assist you in creating an event which suits your needs.
E-pitch - to simplify the promotion of your current roster! We have developed an email service to simplify the process of pitching music. This intuitive and user-friendly service ensures that you can create professional looking email pitches to send out to your contacts in minutes. With E-pitch you send songs or playlists to your contacts and receive alerts tracking whom and when your playlists are accessed, giving you an unparalleled overview of your pitching activities.
